If he stopped being a robot right now they would plummet from the sky and this night would end now. But he has to stop sometime. He's just holding on for as long as he can, as hard as he can. Tonight he's glad to be a robot. Underneath that mask at least she won't be able to see his desperate frown, his boring flesh and blood face all mushed and messy and helplessly hopeful. Tonight at least they fly. |
